We know you might have a few questions about our big day, so we’ve put together this FAQ section to help! Here, you’ll find details about the dress code, venue, accommodations, transportation, and more. If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Where should I stay? What is the hotel situation?

Answer

We are happy to share that we have gotten a room block at the Milwaukee Marriott West off of Highway F. The Travel section at the top of our website has all the details for booking. Please be sure to book no later than 10/25/2025. If no rooms are available, please contact Emily or Alex to add more rooms.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

You know we love the tiny humans, but we would like this time to be as romantic and intimate as possible. For this reason, we ask that you leave the kiddos at home and treat this as a mom & dad's night out! The only children will be immediate family in the wedding party, thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

There will be a 24-passenger bus taking everyone from the hotel to the ceremony beginning at 1:30 PM. There will be two rounds of shuttles to the ceremony; and the final shuttle will get you to the venue by 2:30. If you would like to drive, there is an onsite parking lot, and we ask that you get there no later than 2:45 PM. Any guests who arrive late will be asked to wait until the conclusion of the ceremony to join the rest of the celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to party with everyone, but due to space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones not stated on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs are received no later than October 11, 2025. We will be unable to accept any late responses as we will need to provide a finalized headcount to our vendors. Thank you for your understanding.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Answer

When you RSVP on the website, there will be a space to put any dietary restrictions you may have. To prepare you, we will be serving buffet-style Italian cuisine with garlic bread, two vegetable options, two pasta options, and two meat options.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

The drinks will be on us, but the hangover will be on you! We will be having an open bar with free soda, beer, and seltzers. Liquor and wine will be available for purchase.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests follow a black-tie optional dress code for our wedding. This means formal attire is encouraged, but not required. Men can wear a tuxedo if they’d like, but a dark suit with a dress shirt and tie is also perfectly appropriate. Women have the option of a floor-length gown, a cocktail dress, or a dressy jumpsuit—something elegant but not necessarily ultra-formal. Since the event will take place in the evening, we recommend outfits on the dressier side. Ultimately, we want you to feel confident and comfortable while celebrating with us! However, please refrain from wearing solid black, floor-length, satin dresses. This is what the bridesmaids are wearing, but other black dresses are welcome!

Will transportation be provided? What is the parking situation?

Answer

We are happy to announce that we will be providing transportation from the hotel to the venue for the ceremony beginning at 1:30 PM. There will be two rounds of shuttles to the ceremony; and the final shuttle will get you to the venue by 2:30. If you would like to drive, there is an onsite parking lot, and we ask that you get there no later than 2:45 PM. The shuttle will return and start bringing people back to the hotel starting at 9:30 PM and will run every half hour until 12:30. If you are driving, there is a parking lot onsite that can hold up to 85 cars.
