What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Funky cocktail. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's made up. We know. Go for dresses, suits, jumpsuits, whatever formally floats your boat. Don't shy away from unusual colors, patterns, materials, or accessories—but whatever you wear, we just want you to be excited about it. Also, this is fall in Maine. If the weather is good, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so bring layers and wear appropriate shoes.

Should I rent a car? Is there parking on site?

Answer

If you are flying in to either Boston or Portland, you will need a car to reach our venue. There is ample parking on-site, and if you end up staying in a cabin, you can drive right up to your door.

Do I get a plus one? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately every last person is accounted for so your invitation will be addressed to the people in your family whom are invited to our wedding. If you have a little one under 1, they are welcome to join if you cannot find coverage or if they cannot be left with family. But unless otherwise stated on your invite, we sadly will not be able to host children. However, if finding childcare would prohibit you from being able to attend please reach out.

Is there on-site housing? Do I have to stay on-site?

Answer

We as a party will have the entire run of Linekin Bay Resort for the whole weekend. As such, there is enough on-site accommodations for everyone. You do not have to stay on site, though we encourage anyone who can to do so. We chose Linekin Bay because we really wanted more opportunities to spend time with everyone and interact throughout the weekend. Plus, on-site you will be within spitting distance of every event during the weekend and have breakfast included both days, free access to all the boats and water activities, sports courts, and more. There are all sorts of accommodations and everyone will have one that suits the size and needs of your party.

How do I RSVP and when are RSVPs due?

RSVPs must be submitted here on our website by August 10 at the latest.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Though we will be sad, we promise not to make a voodoo doll of you. If you cannot make attending work for you for reasons other than an existing conflict, please don't hesitate to reach out as we'd love to work out a way to have you with us.

What's Maine like in October?

Answer

We expect the weather to be sunny, but potentially a bit chilly outside, especially in the mornings and evenings, since we're right on the water. Make sure you bring layers as October in Maine can be unpredictable and it could be warmer than expected or colder.
