Visiting southern Wisconsin with Emily’s family has become a cherished part of every summer we’ve spent together. Summertime at the lake means quality time, sunshine, and easy living—it’s where we shared our first “I love you’s,” and now where we’ll exchange our “I do’s.” We’re overjoyed to share it with you. Though our paths crossed over the years - through attending rival high schools & running in similar circles - it wasn’t until a Halloween party (Vitaliy as Waluigi, Emily as a vampire) that we truly hit it off. Dating in 2020 came with its own eeriness. Vitaliy invited Emily to his apartment for their first date. Which, as any woman dating in a major city may recognize, is a bit of a red flag under circumstances outside of a global pandemic. Fortunately, his homemade tacos, strawberry margaritas, and quality company earned him a second date, and we’ve been together ever since. Over the years, we’ve bonded over our love of Cubs games, concerts, exploring new restaurants, and the outdoors. Oh, and attending friends’ and family’s weddings - we’ve been to 25 in our five years together. Some might even call it destiny that Emily caught the bouquet at our first wedding together. We blinked, and now it’s our turn. We’re so grateful for your love and support, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! xoxo, E & V
