Our Story
Emily and Kale first met through mutual friends in Maryville, Missouri in August 2020. Their very first time meeting in person was with a group of friends at the river just outside of town. While it may not have been the most romantic setting, it didn’t take long for the two of them to realize there was something special between them. By November 22, 2020, Emily and Kale officially began dating.
Over the years, they’ve shared countless milestones together—moving in as a couple, celebrating Emily’s college graduation, starting new jobs, and eventually making their home in Bedford, Iowa.
On May 4, 2025, Kale proposed to Emily, a moment she (and her family and friends) had been eagerly waiting for.
As they look back on the past five years, Emily and Kale feel grateful for every memory they’ve made together—and they’re beyond excited for a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures still to come.
