Flight
Please plan ahead and purchase your flights as soon as possible. We also recommend securing travel insurance for peace of mind. There are several international airports in Italy, but we recommend flying into Rome Fiumicino (FCO). From Rome, you can take a direct train to Florence, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. Check out Norse Atlantic for a more affordable transatlantic flight option.
House Or Rental
We have reserved the entirety of the Casa Cornacchi estate for our wedding, and all wedding festivities will take place on site. Most of our guests will be staying on property so we can enjoy the full weekend together. Due to limited availability, we will not be able to accommodate all guests on site, and priority will be given to immediate family and the wedding party. We will reach out to you directly if we are unable to accommodate you on property and will share nearby lodging options. Rooms will be assigned as guests RSVP. All rooms feature air conditioning and a private bathroom. Casa Cornacchi has a restaurant and bar on site where guests may purchase additional food and beverages using a credit card. For guests staying on property, daily breakfast is provided from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We will also be providing food and beverages for all scheduled wedding events, including the Welcome Dinner, Wedding aperitif and dinner, Pool Party and Farewell Dinner. Check-In & Check-Out Check-in begins at 3:00 PM Check-out is by 10:00 AM Check-In Requirements All guests staying on property will be required to present a valid passport and a credit card at check-in. The credit card will be held for incidentals, including any damages or items purchased outside of the meals included with our wedding events. If you prefer to arrange your own off-site accommodations, that is completely okay. Please notify Emily or Grady if you plan to stay off property.
Shuttle

Group Transportation We have arranged a round-trip shuttle between Florence and Casa Cornacchi for an additional fee of $200 per person. If you plan to use the shuttle, please be sure to RSVP for transportation, and we will contact you directly to confirm details and collect payment. Departure to Tuscany Date: Tuesday, June 23 Pickup Location: Florence city center (exact location to be shared) Departure Time: 1:30 PM Return to Florence Date: Friday, June 26 Pickup Location: Casa Cornacchi Departure Time: 10:00 AM sharp If you prefer to arrange your own transportation, you are welcome to do so. Renting a car is easy, or you may take a train from Florence to Arezzo and rent a car from there. (Emily has previously taken this route and found it straightforward.)
Rental Car
If you are planning to travel in from another part of Italy or the meet up time/location does not work for you, you can rent a car to drive to the venue. Renting a car is the best way to explore Tuscany and it gives you freedom to explore the countryside. We encourage guests to coordinate travel plans and share a car to save on cost. Please be aware that Italy requires an international driver’s license. Don’t worry, it’s super easy. You can get one through AAA.
