We’re getting married!

FAQs

If you have any questions besides what is listed here, please reach out!
Question

What is an "unplugged ceremony"?

Answer

We are asking guests to refrain from photography, recordings, or any cell phone usage during our ceremony - we want you to enjoy it, with us, distraction-free. (This also gives our photographer some extra space to work his magic.)

Question

How do I find the entrance of the MAAS Building?

Answer

Guests have the option to park in the Ludlow School parking lot (across from the front of the MAAS Building) or Uber to 1320 North 5th Street. If you are using the parking lot, follow the signs around the block to the 5th Street entrance (at the back of the building). If you are taking an Uber, it will drop you at the entrance of the garden area. Remember: when in doubt - follow the signs.

Question

What does "Garden Attire" mean exactly?

Answer

Think spring, but personified! It is semi-formal attire which includes prints, seasonally appropriate colors, and light fabrics. Refrain from dark colors, heavy fabrics, or any overly formal attire. Guests could opt for a seersucker suit, a kaftan, or a linen 2-piece number. Whatever you choose, we want you to feel comfortable and show your personality.

Question

Is there parking on-site at the MAAS Building?

Answer

Guests will have access to the Ludlow School parking lot across from the front of the MAAS Building until 12 AM.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The MAAS Building is an indoor and outdoor space. The ceremony will take place outside and the reception will take place inside and outside. Fear not. There will be accommodations for rain and heating lamps should it be a bit chilly.

Question

Are there any other attire related things I need to know?

Answer

Consider your choice of shoes wisely - there are cobblestones, woodchips, and foliage in the outside portion of the venue. There are also stairs leading to the second floor.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love for our guests to RSVP by March 1st, 2023.
