Derick and Emily started dating august 25th 2019. Emily moved from upstate New York  to Watertown South Dakota to live with Derick  on February 8th 2020. As time went on and many many moves later. Derick and Emily went to visit some friends in Vivian  South Dakota . On the way home Derick  and Emily , stopped at the state capital building to look at Christmas trees and that’s where he asked Emily to be his wife!
