Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 10, 2025. We ask that you are timely in your response to attend to ensure we have ample time to communicate the number of guests, meal options, and special requests to our venue. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you RSVP "no" as soon as possible. Anyone that has not RSVP'd by August 10, 2025 we will mark as "not attending" when providing our vendors with the final guest count. If you do not RSVP by the listed date and would like to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP right here on the website! Select the RSVP tab and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code in the bottom right corner of your invitation, this will take you directly to the RSVP page! The RSVP link will ask if you are attending, what your meal preference is, and any special dietary requests/restrictions if applicable.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving early to ensure you can find parking and a good seat. As you arrive at the venue, you will see a circular archway, enter here to find ceremony seating. The ideal time to arrive would be around 4:00 PM.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away and silenced. We have designated one person from each side of our families that are allowed to take photos/videos as a favor to us. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will share with you all. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like during cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outdoors, please plan accordingly. We will open our indoor reception space following the ceremony. We are hoping for good weather, however, if the weather happens to prevent an outdoor ceremony we will communicate our back up plan to guests.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! As you drive in to the Essex Resort & Spa, you will follow the loop around the hotel parking lot to The Farmhouse. There, you will see a parking lot directly to the right of you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please refer to the Travel page of our website for hotel recommendations. In addition to the hotels listed, there are also a number of chain hotels within the area that guests can stay at. Expect a short drive to the venue so please plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day. Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up?! Ladies can wear floor length, tea length, mid length dresses or jumpsuits/pantsuits. Men can wear dress-shirts and pants. Please note: We ask you to refrain from shorts, jeans, t-shirts or white attire, please.
