Haleakalā National Park
If you're up for adventure, catch a sunrise or sunset from above the clouds on the summit of this dormant volcano! You need a reservation for the sunrise, but not to catch the sunset. Expect a 2-3 drive depending on where you’re staying. Do not underestimate how cold it is up here - between the huge temperature drop and strong winds you will need layers and a windbreaker to enjoy this beautiful setting!
Road to Hana
A scenic drive with waterfalls, hiking trails, and stunning vistas! We recommend setting aside a full day for the Road to Hana adventure to truly immerse yourselves in the experience without feeling rushed. Plan for an early start (around 6 am) to make the most of the scenic stops and the sights along the way. And ensure you head back before it starts getting dark - you do not want to do this drive at nighttime!
Ka'anapali Beach (Black Rock)
The perfect beach for swimming, sunbathing, and beach activities. At the northern end of the beach, you'll find Black Rock (Pu'u Keka'a), which is a famous landmark where you can snorkel and watch cliff divers!
Makena Beach
One of our favorite beaches in Maui! The waves here can get pretty big, so it’s not the most family-friendly spot, but it’s great if you love a bit of adventure!
Napili Bay Beach Access
We love this gorgeous beach for snorkeling and swimming!
Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman - Kaanapali, Maui
Known for their famous mai tais, Monkeypod Kitchen is a favorite spot for cocktails, food and a fun environment!
Mama's Fish House
A must-visit for fresh seafood and island-inspired dishes. Make a reservation ASAP, as they are often booked out months in advance!

The first restaurant to reopen on historic Front Street since the Maui fires, Mala Ocean Tavern is one of our island favorites, offering incredible food right on the water. We highly recommend booking a sunset reservation for an unforgettable dining experience!
Star Noodle
Star Noodle is a must-visit on Maui, known for its creative, flavorful Asian-inspired dishes and vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for sharing, the menu features handmade noodles, fresh seafood, and unique small plates that showcase local ingredients. Reservations in advance are a must here!
