Things To Do

MASS MoCA

MASS MoCA

1040 Mass MoCA Way, North Adams, MA 01247

Check out the contemporary art at the museum where we will be getting married! Tickets will be discounted for our wedding guests. You might even see us taking photos before the event :) Bring your walking shoes and make sure to get a map at the front desk as the campus is expansive (and both in-and-outdoors!). Note that there are some exhibitions that require separate tickets and advance bookings. They do not cost extra but are worth checking out, such as "James Turrell: Into the Light." **If you are confused by the art, don't worry you can ask some of Emily's RISD friends to explain it to you (find Sydney).

Provisions Williamstown

4 Water Street, Williamstown, MA 01267

A great place to pop into for your own snacks, wine, beer, cheese, and possibly even clothing thrift! This is just a block over from Spring St. in Williamstown where you will find most shops, so make sure to not miss this one if you are in the area or want to see the campus of (the very beautiful) Williams College!

Greylock WORKS

508 State Road, North Adams, MA 01247

Greylock Works, an old cotton spinning mill, has turned it's sprawling footprint into many different spaces, including some awesome food and drink options: STATE Food & Drink, Berkshire Cider Project, and Forager Distillery (artisanal gins and rums using traditional equipment). Right in between North Adams and Williamstown, so it's easy to stop by!

Mount Greylock (and other hiking/walking trails)

30 Rockwell Road, Lanesborough, MA 01237

At 3,491 feet, Mount Greylock is not only the tallest mountain in Massachusetts but also the tallest in all of southern New England. The 12,500-acre Mount Greylock Reservation is the oldest Massachusetts wilderness park. From late May through November 1, you can drive to the summit on two recently restored roads (weather permitting). The views are spectacular from the summit and several other spots along the roads. About 30 mins away from North Adams. There are also tons of trails for hiking and walking around North Adams and Williamstown, so bring your boots and a water bottle if you want to get active!

Clark Art Institute

225 South Street, Williamstown, MA 01267

A beautiful 140-acre campus that holds an art museum and library & research center for visual arts.
