We were both a part of our young adults singles group at our church, Joy Church. We had a mutual friend, Lauren, who knew we were both single and that Emilly had a crush on Luke. Lauren invited Luke over to her house for a game night with another couple, Kayla and TK. Luke and Emilly began connecting, and after Emilly made it obvious to Luke at church that she was interested in being more than just friends, our love began to blossom.
