We're getting married!

We met on Instagram in 2021, but our story didn't begin with a spark. It began with trust. For two years, we were friends. Emilio was doing his own work, letting God refine him, until one night on a trip to Tampa, at Ponte Midtown he looked at Josie and said words she'd never heard before: "I want to seriously pursue you." Everything changed. We talked every single day after that. Josie was in Florida, Emilio was in New York, but we flew back and forth because what we had was worth it. Six months after that dinner, Emilio moved down, and we discovered what God was building through us together. We didn't have a lightning strike moment of knowing but we knew there was a purpose greater than ourselves. We watched God refine us individually and as a couple, and we learned that real love is built on trust, strengthened by faith, and sealed by intention. On December 14th 2025, Emilio took Josie back to Ponte Midtown for their 2 year anniversary dinner, just the two of them. At the end of the evening, he proposed with a custom oval diamond ring, and our families and closest friends emerged to celebrate. Now, on June fifteenth 2026, we're making it official before God, close friends and family. Our story is proof that the best things aren't rushed. They're built on trust, refined by faith, and rooted in God.
