Everyone is staying together at Mendocino Grove. Each tent is shared by two people, and comes with cozy beds, heated blankets, outlets, and everything you need for a comfortable night under the stars.
From Sacramento, take I-80 west toward San Francisco, then merge onto US-101 north. From there, take CA-128 west through Anderson Valley this scenic highway winds through redwoods and vineyards and ends at CA-1 north. Mendocino Grove is just a few minutes north on Highway 1. Our ceremony will be held under the redwoods at Hendy Woods State Park, and the reception dinner will follow at Mendocino Grove. Both locations are about 45 minutes apart, so we’ll have a break between the two.
After the ceremony, guests will have time to return to Mendocino Grove, freshen up, and relax before dinner begins around 5:00 PM. Enjoy the break, sip some wine, explore the amenities Mendocino grove has to offer. Take a quick trip in town and explore local shops, bookstores, and galleries.

Cell service is limited in both Hendy Woods and Mendocino Grove, so we recommend coordinating details ahead of time. To help with communication, we’ll be giving walkie-talkies to groups to stay connected during times of low reception. We'll also designate a point person who can help with logistics if anything comes up.
We kindly ask that you keep phones put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We’ll have a few designated loved ones capturing video, and we’ll share it with everyone afterward. Outside of the ceremony, we’d love for you to capture all the special moments throughout the weekend!
