The Wedding Website of Emilie Longtin and Sunny Guo
Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be held in the backyard of the Longtin family home, 225 Finch Road, Campbell River, with both the ceremony and reception taking place outdoors. Large tent enclosures, heaters, and blankets will be available to ensure your comfort. Additionally, we will provide various seating areas to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Please dress for an outdoor event + bring layers, as we are dealing with Vancouver Island weather after all!

Question

How do I get to Campbell River?

Answer

Campbell River is accessible by car, ferry, or air. If you're driving from the mainland, take the ferry from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo, then follow Highway 19 north for about 1.5 hours to reach Campbell River. Alternatively, you can fly directly to Campbell River (YBL) or Comox (YQQ) Airports. If you're coming from other parts of Vancouver Island, simply drive north along Highway 19 or 19A, depending on your preference for a faster route or a scenic drive along the coast.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel your best! The wedding will have a kitschy, vintage, and whimsical vibe with lots of colours. We recommend avoiding heels, as the event will mostly take place on grass.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You bet there will be! We will have a wide selection of canned beverages, including beer, cider, and cocktails. We will also have wine, themed cocktails, and a range of spirits served by bartenders.

Question

What should I do if I have a special dietary requirement?

Answer

We will have vegetarian and dairy-free options for our appetizers and buffet dinner. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please email us at emiliesunnywedding@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can ensure we have food that will suit your needs.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Of course! We understand that some of you may want to bring your kids, while others might prefer a night off. Just a heads up—there will be alcohol and cannabis at the wedding, so please be mindful of this if you're bringing little ones. If you'd like your kids to join, please text Emilie or Sunny, or email us at emiliesunnywedding@gmail.com, so we can make sure everything is set for a fun day and night!

Question

Can I bring my fur babies to the wedding?

Answer

We hate to say it, but you can’t bring your pets to the wedding. With our new puppy, Remy, and the Longtin family's dog, Sydney, we already have a full house, so we want to keep things as simple as possible. But do not worry—you are welcome to give these pups some love if you miss your fur babies at home!

Question

Can I send a gift to your home instead of bringing it to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is the real gift, and we do not expect anything more. However, if you would like to give a gift and prefer not to bring it to the wedding, you are welcome to send it to our home in Victoria. Our address is 2075 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC, V8R 1E6.

Question

Who can I contact if I have more questions?

Answer

We created an email account for all wedding-related communications. So, if you need any additional information, please email us at emiliesunnywedding@gmail.com.
