What started with a simple swipe turned into one of the greatest blessings of our lives. We met online and quickly realized we shared a connection through Calvary Baptist Church, where Emilie’s parents attended. Our first date at Iron Bank Coffee turned into a four-hour walk through downtown Columbus, and from that day on, we couldn’t get enough of each other.That first week was filled with dates, laughter, and time spent getting to know one another. Before long, we were inseparable. On May 2, Slayton proposed along the RiverWalk in downtown Columbus, a place that holds so many special memories for us. Since so much of our story unfolded here, it felt like the perfect place to begin our forever. We are honored to celebrate our wedding in a city that means so much to us and are excited to share the charm of Columbus with all of you at the City Mills Hotel & Restaurant.
