Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but this party is 21+. So find yourselves a babysitter and come have a blast with us for a couple days :)

Question

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

Your pick! We've provided three options across price ranges, so check out the Travel & Accommodations page for more details. Alternatively, you can stay at any hotel in midtown Manhattan and easily Uber/Lyft/taxi to the venue from Manhattan.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Definitely not. Time to download all the ride-sharing apps and get yourself to the venue sans car. You'll be happy you did since NYC driving is not for the faint-hearted. There will be parking available nearby the hotels, so feel free to get in touch with your hotel ahead of time to confirm!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, don't be afraid to try something new. You're in Brooklyn, people, spice up those looks! Please keep in mind that our ceremony will be outside, so we suggest having an extra layer if it's chilly day of.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Emilie is rarely on time. Nick is always early. Be like Nick. Ceremony starts at 4:30pm, so please arrive before 4:15pm and we'll have an ice cold treat waiting for you ;)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Maybe, but no promises. We'll be serving our favorite local restaurant buffet-style with both meat and veggie options to accommodate as best we can. Give us a shout at nickandemilie119@gmail.com with any allergy requests and we'll see what we can do!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We won't be organizing anything the night before, but we'll probably get some post-rehearsal drinks in Greenpoint, so let us know if you're arriving Thursday and want to hang! We will be hosting a day-after party to keep the celebration going at Spritzenhaus33. It's totally optional, but duh we want you there! (more on that below)

I love you both, but what if I'm not up for the day-after party?

Totally fine! We'd love for you to join us, but we get that you may be sick of us by Saturday. If you're not up for it, feel free to head home or explore NYC while you're here! If you stick around, we'll be hosting our day-after party a block away from our venue at Spritzenhaus33 and will treat you to a few drinks :)

What should I know about your venue?

Answer

Dobbin St is a two-floor, indoor/outdoor event space. We'll be having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside on the rooftop, then hosting our reception inside the main space downstairs. Dobbin has a great courtyard for you to get some fresh air, and both floors will be accessible following our ceremony. Please note that you'll access the rooftop via stairs through the side entrance, and then down stairs to the main space of the venue.
