September in Kansas City is usually beautiful—sunny with highs in the 70s or low 80s. That said, it is the Midwest, so we recommend bringing a light layer just in case it cools off in the evening. This is an outdoor reception so dress accordingly.

Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at near the venue, please see the "Travel" page. However, the venue is just north of the city so many other hotels in downtown Kansas City or the Country Club Plaza will work great.
Brad & Emilie are getting married earlier in the day in a private ceremony. The reception begins at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 PM so you can grab a drink, and settle in before we kick off the celebration.
