The Wedding Website of Emilie Smith and Adam Rohde
Feel free to email us at emilieandadamwedding@gmail.com if you have any additional questions you need answered before the big day. Please avoid sending us questions in the days before the wedding unless completely necessary as we will be busy putting the final touches on our big day!
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

At the very latest, we ask that you RSVP by Sunday, October 1, 2023. However, for planning purposes, it would be incredibly helpful if you could RSVP as soon as you know whether or not you and your guests will be in attendance.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity restrictions, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We ask that you please limit your number of attendees to those listed on the invitation. If you have been given a guest, your invite will read "Your Name & Guest."

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are requesting that our guests dress in cocktail attire. That being said, we want everyone to feel comfortable. If accommodating the dress code would hinder your ability to relax and enjoy yourself, we encourage you to dress in whatever manner best suits you. We do ask that white and ivory be reserved for the bride!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. We ask that all guests be seated at 3:50 p.m. at the very latest. If you are checking in at the hotel, please make sure you give yourself enough time to check in, get settled, and be ready for the ceremony on time.

Question

What if I arrive late to the ceremony?

Answer

Things happen, and we completely understand if you are running a few moments behind. However, if the doors are closed, we ask that you wait until after the ceremony to join in on the festivities. We kindly ask that you do not interrupt our wedding ceremony, as it is an intimate time we are sharing with our friends and families, and want to avoid any and all distractions in that moment.

Question

Can I bring along my kids?

Answer

As much as we love and adore all of the children in our life, we are only able to invite a few close family members’ children. Therefore, please only bring along the people your invitation was addressed to. We hope this advance notice means you're able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on our big day!

Question

Are you providing any transportation for guests?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are both located at a hotel and a hotel block has been made available for guests. Therefore, we are not providing any additional methods of transportation. If you choose to stay somewhere other than Hotel Retlaw, we ask that you arrange for your own transportation and ensure that you get home safely.

Question

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

We are offering complementary beer and wine throughout the night, as supplies last. Additional drinks will be available for purchase via a cash bar.
