Johnny is Emiliano's brother-in-law and one of the friendliest people he knows. Even though they met later in each other’s lives, they quickly became close friends. They've quickly made up for lost time by turning any free time into an opportunity to hang out with each other. Johnny is easygoing, always in a good mood, and great to spend time with. They especially enjoy golfing together, where they can relax, share some laughs, and enjoy each other’s company. The decision to make Johnny a Groosman was an easy choice for Emiliano.

Gage and Emiliano's friendship began when they went through the fire academy together. What started as a connection at work quickly grew into a strong friendship outside of it as well. Gage makes up a third of Emiliano's fire-friend trio. This trio started at work, and the relationship flourished into a bond that will last a lifetime. Their shared paths have only made their bond that much stronger. Gage has a great sense of humor, and there’s never a dull moment when they’re around each other. Through shared experiences and plenty of laughs, their bond has become both meaningful and lasting.

Dylan, better known as Lesser (his last name) to Emiliano, rounds out the other third of this fire trio. Lesser is one of those friends who can make any situation better just by being around. He’s kind, thoughtful, and always looking out for the people close to him, but he also has a goofy, silly side that keeps everyone laughing no matter how stressful things get. Along side his unwavering loyalty, that balance of seriousness and playfulness is what makes Lesser an irreplacable friend. That mix of character traits is why Emiliano choose Lesser to stand next to him on one of the most important days of his life.
