Austin‑Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown Austin. We recommend renting a car directly from the airport for the most flexibility, but Uber and Lyft are also easy and reliable options throughout the city. If you don’t mind a road trip and are looking to save on airfare, you may also want to check flights into San Antonio International Airport (SAT). San Antonio is about a 1.5‑hour drive from Austin and can sometimes offer more affordable flight options.

We’ll be calling South Austin home for the wedding weekend! Reese and Emilia will be staying at an Airbnb from Friday, October 30 through Monday, November 2, just 15 minutes from the venue and 10 minutes from downtown Austin. Guests who’d like to stay nearby may want to look for places between South First Street and South Congress Avenue.

If you’re looking for a walkable, fun neighborhood with great bars, coffee shops, and a grocery store nearby, we highly recommend the Holly Neighborhood in East Austin—it’s where we live and love to spend our time. You’ll find tons of Airbnb options and be close to some of our favorite Austin spots, including the Lady Bird Lake Trail, Rainey Street, and the vibrant East 6th Street scene. You’ll also be near go-to favorites like Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden (Saltillo)—perfect for coffee, tacos, or a casual drink. ☕🌮🍻 From Holly, you’ll be about a 15–20 minute drive (without traffic) to our wedding venue, The Hummingbird House in South Austin, making it a great option if you want to stay somewhere lively while still being close to the celebration.

If you’re looking to stay close to the wedding festivities, Boldin Creek is a fantastic neighborhood to consider. Tucked away in South Austin, it’s charming, walkable, and full of local favorites—think coffee shops, neighborhood bars, and easy access to nature. You’ll find plenty of Airbnb options here, and you’ll be just minutes from South Congress, Zilker Park, and the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
