What is the dresscode? / Mikä on pukukoodi?

Answer

Our dress code is Romantic Vintage Elegance, think lush fabrics like velvet, silk, and satin in deep greens, soft pinks, warm golds, and earthy tones. It’s between cocktail and semi-formal, but with room for creativity. We’d love to see our guests in outfits that feel elegant, fun, and a little bit romantic, whether that’s a flowy dress, a sharp suit, or something with a vintage twist. How strict is the dresscode? / Kuinka tarkka pukukoodi on?

Answer

The dresscode is a desire from our part. We have chosen colors that we would love to see our guests in. However, the wedding is in the end of September and we will be outside in a tent for the ceremony and dinner part of the evening, so most important would be that you are dressed weather appropriately, ie. bring warm sweaters and jackets and probably also wool socks! If you want to do an outfit change for the later part of the evening and have a separate dance floor outfit, this is very welcomed! The costume change does not have to adhere to the original color palette. Pukukoodi on meille tärkeä toive. Olemme valinneet värit, joissa toivoisimme vieraidemme pukeutuvan. If you would like to get us a gift, we would absolutely love if you would like to contribute to one of these three areas: Honeymoon, pink Moccamaster or tattoos for Cedric. Yes, these are our top priorities in life at this time apparently. Will there be an open bar? / Onko juhlissa avoin baari?

Answer

There won’t be a traditional open bar. We will serve a welcome drink, but otherwise it’s bring-your-own-drinks. There will be a “bring-your-own-beer-bar,” meaning you can bring your own drinks or ingredients and our bartenders will mix them into something special. Varsinaista avointa baaria ei ole. Tarjoamme tervetuliaismaljan, mutta muuten juhlat ovat omat juomat -periaatteella. Paikalla on “bring-your-own-beer-bar”, eli voit tuoda omat juomasi tai ainekset mukanasi ja meidän baarimikot loihtivat niistä drinkkejä.

How does parking work? / Miten parkkeeraaminen onnistuu?

Answer

There is a large parking lot by the water next to the house. Talon vieressä, veden äärellä, on iso parkkipaikka.

Rumour has it there is a sauna at the wedding location, is this the case?

Answer

Yes! There is in fact a sauna, and later in the night it is possible to visit said sauna. This means you need a towel and anything else you might want/need to make your sauna experience as pleasant as possible.

What will be served as a midnight snack?

Answer

There will probably be leftovers from the dinner portion of the wedding, but we also ask that our guests who plan on staying late bring food that we can grill and bbq together! There will be a bonfire later in the night 🔥
