We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

We had the pleasure of meeting each other before a philanthropic event at Lynchburg College. Tyler was performing in the "Mr. Lynchburg" event and he needed an opinion on which tie looked best with his cowboy hat. While I was enjoying dinner at a mutual friend's house, Tyler popped in to get our opinion, and that is when we were officially introduced. It was not but a week later that we were doing homework and cooking spaghetti together. Although we ended up going our separate ways for the rest of that year, the summer of 2020 rolled around, and we reconnected.

After a long year of living 12 hours apart, to continuing our relationship together in Florida, Tyler proposed on December 10th, 2021 in Rosemary Beach, Florida. While I had the mindset that Tyler was two hours away in Destin, FL for work meetings all day, he was in fact driving to Warner Robins, GA to pick up my beautiful ring. After Tyler got home from "work", it was time for a date night, at Pescado Seafood Grill and Rooftop bar. Before heading to the restaurant for dinner, we took a walk through a row of live oak trees that were twinkling with lights. Shortly after enjoying the view and each other's company, Tyler got down on one knee and popped the question. After a "yes" with full surprise and no hesitation, we celebrated the night with champagne, great food, and friends!
