Our story started when we first crossed paths in the hallways of our middle school and high school. Life took us on different paths after graduation, but we always found ourselves reconnecting whenever we returned to our hometown. Although our paths crossed years before, we began a new connection during the pandemic. With Emilee living in Colorado, and Mark living in Michigan, what started as periodic visits turned into a long-distance relationship. After 1.5 years of navigating a long-distance relationship, we decided to close the geographical gap between us and start a new chapter together in Virginia!

On a crisp fall evening, surrounded by both of our families, Mark proposed at a local vineyard in Charlottesville, Virginia. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Michigan!
