FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our theme is a Bohemian styled wedding, however feel free to come in your own style! All that we ask is that you come in semi-formal to formal wedding attire.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 27th. Further RSVP details will be included on the formal invitation that you receive.

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Due to limited spacing, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

Complimentary round trip transportation will be provided for hotel guests. Space is limited to 15 people per trip, so we ask that you stay patient if you aren’t picked up right away!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if your little ones would prefer chicken tenders instead of our buffet spread, we’ll hook them up! We plan to have a kids activity table at the reception since us adults are “boring”! Be mindful that there is an open bar, so there will be a large amount of alcohol in the area. If that isn’t something you are comfortable bringing the kids around, then you may want to find a sitter! We do ask that you please keep an extra eye on your little ones especially during the ceremony, first dance, father-daughter dance etc. to avoid disruptions.

Question

What if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by August 27, 2024, you will be marked as “not attending”. We would love celebrating with you, however we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. There will be no seating, food or drink accommodations for you.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please still inform us that you will not be attending via text or phone call. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find that you will not make it, please notify Emilee at 315-935-4628 as soon as possible.

Question

What is the color palette of the wedding?

Answer

Our color palette includes hues of burgundy, dusty pink and earth tones!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm. We ask that you arrive and find your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes prior as it will give you time to find parking as well as your outdoor seating. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will be asked to wait until cocktail hour to enter to avoid ceremony disruptions.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you keep our ceremony “unplugged” and refrain from taking any videos or photos during that time. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take as many photos/videos as your heart desires!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors and our reception will be held indoors at the same venue.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! There will be 5 hours of Open Bar including: Draft Beer, Wine, Soda and House Brand Liquors. We ask that you be patient and respect our bartender(s)! We are excited about our open bar as it’s a great way to celebrate, but please drink responsibly and stay safe! Reminder: We provide round trip complimentary transportation for our hotel guests! We strongly encourage you to utilize this transportation if you’re thinking of enjoying the open bar!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have decided to do hotel room blocks at Burrstone Inn and TownePlace Suites! Please look in our “Travel” tab for more information on how to book!

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

We are honored and excited to celebrate our special day with our loved ones! Your presence and well wishes are the most meaningful gifts we could ever ask for. If you are considering on bringing a gift to the wedding, we kindly request contributions for our honeymoon/anytime fund as opposed to physical items due to limited space at the venue. Thank you for your understanding!
