Our Story

How We Met

Logan and Emilee first got to know each other a little bit in college, but at the time their lives went in different directions. About 3 years later the couple reconnected on a dating app, and have been inseparable ever since their first date.

The First Date

The two set off for an impromptu ride, where their conversation flowed effortlessly, and before they knew it, an hour had passed. They decided to extend the evening and took a walk around Sunset Blvd pond in Savage, laughing and talking for another hour, completely absorbed in each other’s company. Eventually, they agreed it was time to sit down for a proper date. They ended up at Copper Pint in Shakopee, a place that quickly became their favorite together soon became a cherished tradition, a spot that remained special to them both as a couple—and later, as a family. What began as not too serious of a date quickly became so much more, and now we are here today, anticipating the day we become one.

The Proposal

It was a chilly fall day and Logan decided the perfect way to get Emilee out of the house (no questions asked, if you know her lol..) would be to suggest the place where the two went on their 2nd date, and many after Ferguson's Apple Orchard. But first they had to take a pit stop at the Falls in Jordan, where Logan's excuse for stopping there was because he had to pee? Not odd at all, right? Lol, Emilee quickly caught on when Logan asked her to join him, getting down on one knee before they could even reach the actual waterfall. The two shared a laugh, some tears and the biggest hug, so full of excitement. He took her to Ferguson's to have a proper celebration with their tradition of apple picking and fresh apple cider donuts. 8 months later they welcomed their daughter Hadlee Jean into the world, who is now 2!

The Wedding
