Yes! Bermuda is a British territory so you will need a passport to enter the island. Please ensure that your passport is not expired, or set to expire within 6 months of your departure. On the return home, those traveling back to the United States will go through US customs through the Bermuda airport.
We know that everyone's schedules and availability varies. We hope that our guests can join us for our organized events from Thursday to Saturday. Please reach out to us if you would like to extend your trip and we can provide additional recommendations!
We will have transportation arranged from Pompano Beach Club to and from the venue on the date of the ceremony and reception. For the rest of your stay, people typically use the following: taxis, the local bus/ferry, rented mopeds, or electric vehicles (Twizzy or Rugged) to help you explore the island.
The Bermudian dollar and the US dollar are 1:1. This makes paying for things easy! If paying in cash, stores will accept either US dollars or Bermudian Dollars. Credit cards are widely accepted, however, check to make sure you don't have a foreign-transaction fee.
We are happy to have your children join us the weekend of our wedding but ask that they do not attend our organized events on October 3rd and 4th. If you’d like to bring them to Bermuda, we have options for babysitters on the island. Please let us know in advance if you are planning this so we can help you coordinate.
