In true Okoboji fashion, we met in Millers Bay on July 3rd, 2021. It was a hot summer day and "Lake Effect" was in full swing. Annie and I of course were jumping from boat to boat on our way over to our friends. Cole was on a mauipad nearby. Cole and Annie knew each other from college and Cole had seen me the day before (I didn't see him). He told himself if he ever sees me again he would come up and talk to me. Sure enough, he swam over to us and introduced himself to me. We talked the entire rest of the day and had a blast together with our group of friends that night. Little did we know we had SO MANY mutual friends. A week later Cole took me on our first date. That night he told me he was going to marry me one day. Talk about someone who knows what they want! We have had so many fun memories and adventures together and we are so excited to continue and grow them. Thanks for joining us on our special day :)
