How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Our venue is in a remote location, and Uber will not be available. We will be providing transportation to and from the Winston-Salem, Marriott Hotel to both the ceremony and wedding reception. If you are not staying at the Marriott Hotel, we suggest parking in the Cherry Street garage across from the hotel or Ubering to the hotel prior to the boarding window. Transportation is open to all guest, regardless of where you stay. Ceremony Guest Boarding Window: 3:45pm-4:00pm *bus will leave at 4:00pm sharp! Reception Guest Boarding Window: 5:40pm-5:55pm *bus will leave at 5:55pm sharp! Parking is available at Boxwood Estate for those who wish to drive.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional! Please be mindful of your shoe choice as the venue is mostly grass.

Will the event be inside or outside?

Answer

Both! Our intimate ceremony is outside facing the pond. Cocktail hour is hosted on the front and back lawn and partially inside the home. Dinner + Dancing will be under a clear top tent connected to the Estate. Bathrooms are inside the house and are temperature controlled.
