Metra's Version: Our 1st date was 6/23/2020 I had so much fun and couldn't wait to explore what would come next. We immediately went on our 1st trip and became exclusive after returning. We have had so many 1st together during the journey....

I was told we were going to Alabama for the weekend without knowing what to expect. I was welcomed with open arms and having been laughing and cutting up with them every since. I definitely felt welcomed into the Boyd family.

Talk about competitive nature! Our first date, June, 23,2020, consisted of bowling and let me tell you this, she called me out and, ok yeah, you thought I was in trouble but your boi came out victorious! We laughed and had so much fun and that was the first check mark on what I was looking for in a relationship! Made me laugh, competitive nature, great character, warm and inviting smile, had her stuff together-Winner, Winner Chicken dinner haha. Let's take a road trip....

Let's take a road trip.....Oh yeah you thought I was finished with only one story didn't you? Our first road trip believe it or not came the next day! Metra what are you doing this weekend? Nothing, ok well I have family and friends in Florida and I was thinking about hitting the road are you down? Fictional story in the making right, no these are Facts, she said yes to a road trip!!!!! So many boxes got checked on this trip! Needless to say it was awesome and filled with adventure that included but not limited to night fishing for flounder! Way to much to tell you about on this, so I will move on to meeting the daughter! Nikki, Metra's daughter, who is the judge of man and if you pass the test of her liking you then you're good! No pressure, I passed with flying colors! With that being said we have not spent a single day away from each other since our first date! The best part is that we are still dating and continue to look for ways to say I Love You without speaking those words daily.....Love At First Sight.....

Getting a call to go to Florida at the last minute.... My eyes lit up and I grabbed my suitcase. We stayed on the phone while the hotel was booked. The first day we were invited to go to the beach to play soccer.....WAIT!!! It was thundering but I put on my big girl panties and went. It sprinkled and the sky lite up as we played. I didn’t know anyone but had a blast. Kelvin was a perfect gentleman the entire trip...with his Alabama charm lol He swept me off my feet!

On 12/25/2020....It was a normal Christmas morning with the family. My sister Errika was there pretending to show us her new phone stand while setting up the video camera. Once everyone arrived to exchange gifts we were all talking about Kelvin and I disagreeing about where to keep the extra soap in the house. In the past I kept it in the hall closet and Kelvin wants it directly in the bathroom. I heard Kelvin say from behind me...."Since we cant agree on that can we agree on this'"? (As he was dropping to his knee)...... I was in Awwww as you can see on the dang video. (PLEASE DONT ASK KELVIN TO SEE THE VIDEO) lol Of course my answer was going to be YES!!!! I was just sooooo embarrassed in front of everyone. HE REALLY GOT ME! This will be a day I will always remember.
