We're Getting Married, Again!

Our story started when we first crossed paths on the campus of Albion College. After graduation we followed new goals, new cities, and new plans. Time moved, but the connection stayed. In 2019 we found our way back to each other. Kristen lived in Michigan and Nick lived in Chicago. Weekend visits turned into a long-distance relationship filled with train rides and late night calls. After 2.5 years we closed the distance and started a new chapter together in the Windy City.

London has always held Kristen’s heart, so it became the perfect place to start our future. On our first trip there together, Nick proposed in the gardens of Regent’s University. Kristen said yes and we spent the rest of the day celebrating together, wandering through the city. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Michigan!

We always planned to follow the traditional path - engagement, marriage and start a family. Nick designed Kristens engagement ring from a jeweler in Chicago and bought it in July 2023, with a plan to propose that upcoming September on their trip to London. We found out we were unexpectedly pregnant with Sophia that August. We decided to make things official before she was born and had an intimate wedding on December 1st, 2023 at the Royal Oak Courthouse.
