We're Getting married

Kevin and I had many mutual friends because we went to the same church and played sports for the same organization. We ended up being Facebook friends but would never speak in person. One day in middle school I saw Kevin riding his bicycle in the neighborhood. Naturally, like a creeper, I messaged him on Facebook and told him that I saw him riding his bike in the area. And the rest is basically history.

I asked Emery to be my girlfriend at Bellevue in the courtyard, so it only seemed fitting that that was the place I would ask her to be my wife. Emery generally hates surprises and usually knows when I am up to something. My goal with this proposal was to surprise her and make sure she did not see it coming. I came up with a plan with Emery’s photography boss Susan. The plan was that Susan would get Emery’s help with an outside photoshoot at Bellevue's courtyard. What Emery did not know yet was that she was not helping with the shoot; however, she would be in the shoot. After weeks of careful planning, the day had finally come. Emery and Susan arrived at the courtyard and were finding the perfect spot to take pictures. During this time, I was nervously waiting inside of Bellevue for Susan to text me to come outside. After waiting for minutes that seemed like hours, the text I had been waiting for arrived. With flowers and ring in hand I went outside. I began walking up behind Emery as Susan took pictures of Emery to “test the light”. When I reached Emery, she turned around to see who it was. I gave her a hug and the flowers then I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
