There is no option for Uber or Lyft or anything, so please plan accordingly. The best option is to have a designated driver to safely take you back to where you’re staying.
Drive just past the house through a gate at the end of chinquapin lane and you’ll find parking! Golf carts will be available to transport you to the house
Yeah...it’s been a lot of tough conversations to decide how to proceed. We are going to move forward with our day as planned and hope you can join! We are requesting all guests be vaccinated (please reach out to Emery with questions about this if you’d like to talk it out- she is happy to discuss). In addition, both the ceremony and the reception are at outdoor venues, and masks are certainly welcome and encouraged if that what makes you feel good and comfortable. All that said, our first priority is the health, safety, and mental/physical comfort of our friends and family. So definitely do not feel pressured to attend if that's not part of your COVID plan. We love you all and want everyone to be happy!
Emery will be in white (after Labor Day!!!!) and Jeremy will be in a suit. So, read the room from there. (Generally attire is “formal” whatever that means for you. If you’re happy and comfortable and feeling good, you’ll fit right in!)
We recommend getting an Airbnb! See our Travel page for more info, but if you want to be in Asheville, that's cool too and there's certainly more options there.
Come to our wedding! But between that, there's also plenty of trails to be hiked, nature to be enjoyed, and beer to be drunk. If you find yourself in need of a lunch recommendation, we like Kanini's and Boojum. Dinner for a crowd? You can't beat Dough Boys Pizza at Mad Anthony's Bar. Need a hike recommendation? Purchase knob is great! Need a place to walk around, but not wanting to hike? Try Lake Junaluska! Need something else? Text Emery for food and Jeremy for local insights. (We stick to our strengths.)
Great question! It's because Emery made the whole website. Jeremy would have no clue where to start, and Emery suspects he doesn't know how to edit it to change this question anyway.
