It all started with a five-minute conversation at the gym. Connor walked up to Emery, struck up a conversation, and then, just as quickly, walked away. No number. No Instagram. Just a moment that somehow felt like the beginning of something. A little while later, fate (and maybe an Instagram message) brought them back together, and they met up for their first date at Bully Brew Coffee on a Sunday morning. What started as a casual coffee quickly turned into hours of talking and laughing - the kind of conversation that makes you forget about the rest of the world.

Connor planned a moment Emery would never forget. While visiting Austin, Texas, he suggested they check out the views at Mount Bonnell - a scenic overlook known for its sweeping views of the city and Colorado River. Emery thought they were just heading out for a walk to start the morning, but Connor had something much more meaningful in mind. As they reached the overlook, Connor turned to Emery, shared a few heartfelt words, and got down on one knee. It was a quiet, meaningful moment full of emotion - just the two of them (plus a hidden audience of loved ones and a photographer!). After she said “yes,” Emery’s brother and dad came over to celebrate with hugs, happy tears, and laughter. The entire day was filled with joy, love, and the beginning of their next chapter together.
