It was the 4th of July on board Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas headed out on an Alaskan cruise. Mandy was a singer in the ship's production cast & Tim was cruising with a friend that lived in the ships home port, Seattle. They both found themselves at the disco lounge at the top of the ship having drinks & sneaking glances at one another. After FINALLY being introduced, it was the start of an amazing adventure of phone calls, emails, FaceTime dates & hometown visits.

Back in February 2018, Mandy had a friend, Denise, who was a photographer that needed a fun-loving couple to take part in a fancy photoshoot in downtown Chicago. They happily obliged, got dressed up & had a blast. This gave Tim the great idea to somehow turn this into a surprise proposal down the line. Fast-forward to July, Denise has reached out wanting to do "another photoshoot" along the harbor. Again, they happily agreed & made plans for date, time & attire. On August 3rd, Tim & Mandy made their way to the harbor, dressed up & ready for another fun photoshoot. After photos were taken in various locations, Tim shared his heart & dropped down on one knee having it all captured by Denise. Little did Mandy know, the surprise didn't stop there. Tim also invited his & Mandy's parents to join this special day. Hugs, laughter & MANY tears were shared as they celebrated the wonderful new adventure they'd be embarking on.
