Makayla and I met in 3rd grade when I lived in Charleston SC. We grew up together and when I moved 6 hours away, we still kept in touch and would visit over the summers. When we were 8 years old, we were planning our weddings. I am so blessed that 13 years later, I can call her one of my bridesmaids like we said many years ago.

Lauren and I met when I first met Christian's parents since she was dating Trae (Christian’s brother, and now they’re engaged!). We didn't really hit it off till 2 years later for whatever reason, but now I can't wait to have her as my sister in law! We are alike in so many ways. I can't wait to share our big days together in our weddings in 2020!

Tori and I met when she had just graduated nursing school and she had a party. Due to the circumstances (which I will not say), we didn't officially meet until a get together they had a few months later. We share the same love for farmhouse style and makeup. I can't wait for the many more memories to come!

I met Cody through Emerson's best friend, Salena. We quickly became best friends over this past year and I know Salena and Cody are going to be life-long friends for sure.

James is my cousin by blood but he's really my brother. We used to argue like crazy when I was a kid but one day it came to an abrupt end and he thought I was cool so I just rolled with it. Never a dull moment with this one.

Cameron is my brother from another mother. He's not blood related but he's definitely another brother of mine. I was the first baby he ever held. That in itself is an honor even though I could never remember that moment.

Lisa worked with my dad a long time ago and have remained great family friends. Once we moved back to the Charlotte area, we started hanging out more with Lisa and Cheryl. They became more than just friends... they became family. We asked them to marry us because we can’t imagine having anyone else pronounce us husband and wife. They have been nothing but a great role model for me and Christian. When I first introduced them to Christian, they immediately brought him in as part of the family and included him. We love them so much and can’t wait for the big day!
