Jess and Ken met when they were at the Covington Picnic. The Best Man, Gary, ran into Jess, her sister and their friends and asked her to play the Shoot the star out game. Knowing she wouldn't do well at it, she willingly played (mainly because Gary paid for her game lol). When she finished her game, doing better than Gary, she stood next to Ken and Groomsman, Johnny, and began talking with them. They talked everyday and after almost a year of attempting to pursue a relationship, Jess finally, on April 30, 2012, said "Yes" to being Ken's girlfriend!
