Happily Ever After!

Help us celebrate our one-year anniversary and conclude our year of being newlyweds! We would love the opportunity to share the love and joy that we felt on our wedding day with our friends and family 364 days from the day we were married!

The nearlyweds decided they just couldn't wait any longer and eloped! The couple was married in a small, private ceremony in downtown Raleigh, NC, just streets away from where they first met almost exactly one year prior. After the ceremony, Jason and Emerson spent the day visiting different restaurants, sharing drinks and appetizers, taking polaroids, reading their vows to each other, and ended the day at a local Italian restaurant before returning home with a big secret!

The couple had a day trip planned to Wrightsville Beach, NC. Upon arriving in Wilmington around lunchtime, they enjoyed a meal by the river. Strolling through historic Wilmington, Jason and Emerson explored stores, bought a special candle, and toured a historic mansion downtown. Later, they visited a local brewery, had a drink, and savored live music. Throughout the day, she kept telling Jason, "This is the best day ever." Their dinner plan was to pick up to-go sushi for a beach picnic. They laid out a blanket and enjoyed dinner together. Jason suggested asking someone to take their picture, and after approaching a passerby, she took photos on their phone and a polaroid. Following this, Jason asked for more pictures on the phone, got down on one knee, and proposed. They captured photos on the beach and shared the news with their family and closest friends on the ride home. It truly was one of the best days ever.

The couple met over a game of cornhole! They were both too nervous to say much to each other and went their separate ways. They crossed paths again a couple of weeks later on Halloween weekend, one dressed as a biker and the other as an average joe. The two had a fun-loving night together and had their first date one week later. Jason and Emerson enjoyed Mexican food and a few games of axe throwing. Each would individually say they knew it was forever from that first date!
