Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and turn off your phone to refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special time. Additionally, we have hired professionals to capture the moment and we ask that you do not get in their way.

What’s the dress code?
Answer
For our mountain ceremony, we require attire that is elegant yet comfortable for the outdoor ceremony setting. Think semi-formal garden party. Ladies opt for flowy dresses or skirts paired with comfortable footwear suitable for grassy or uneven terrain. Gentlemen dress shirts and trousers, with optional blazers, keeping in mind lighter fabrics for the outdoor weather. Feel free to incorporate spring tones or floral patterns to complement the beautiful surroundings. You can find all details in the scheduling tab on our website. We ask that guests arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
As we will be flying to our wedding destination, we kindly ask you to keep this in mind. If you would like to honor us with a gift, please have it delivered to our home at: Address to: Paul Hensley Address Line 1: 1214 Dolton Dr STE 202, Address Line 2: AOS2326-1 Dallas, Texas, 75207 This address ships to a service that we select when it is delivered to our door. or Address to: Paul and Emerald Address Line 1: 9020 Southwestern Blvd Address Line 2: Apt 2326 Dallas, Texas 75214 This delivers directly to our apartment. Please keep in mind we will be traveling a week before and after the wedding. A wedding card box will also be available at our reception.

What should I wear to the night before?
Answer
For the night before, we recommend comfortable yet stylish attire. Ladies, consider casual sundresses, skirts, blouses, tailored pants, or dark jeans. Gentlemen, opt for nice polos, button-downs, chinos, or dark jeans. Please avoid ripped jeans or athletic wear.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate with you. Unless specifically indicated on your invitation, we will not have room for additional guests or children.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, come rain or shine. In the event of rain, umbrellas will be provided for your comfort. Both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception will be held indoors.

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?
Answer
Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. If you are not staying at The Black Diamond Lodge or within walking distance, we kindly request that you arrange an Uber or other transportation to attend the events.

What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
RSVPs were due by Sunday, April 26th. If you were unable to submit your RSVP by the deadline, please contact Emerald or Paul, and we will do our best to find a way for you to join us.
