Question

Answer

To RSVP, simply click on the RSVP tab at the top of this page, enter your first and last name, and follow the prompts—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can join us by June 11th!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Since we are getting married in an art museum we really want to encourage people to be creative and expressive with their outfits! Our dress code is Met Gala Black Tie (optional) Think classic black tie with an artistic twist. For women: floor-length gowns, chic cocktail dresses, or elevated formal looks are all perfect. We love and encourage lots of color, unique silhouettes, textures, and statement pieces—don’t be afraid to have fun with it! For men: tuxedos are always a great choice, but expressive suits (colors, patterns, or luxe fabrics like velvet) are absolutely encouraged. We do ask that all men wear a tie or bow tie to keep the look elevated and cohesive. Overall, think formal, elevated, and fashion-forward—like a black tie event with a little extra creativity and flair. We can’t wait to see everyone’s style come to life! Please avoid distracting headpieces in addition to feathered boas as our venue prohibits these. P.S. If this feels like too much pressure, your go-to black tie outfit will do just fine :)

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our celebration will take place throughout multiple spaces at Hunter Museum of American Art for a dynamic evening experience. The ceremony will be held indoors inside the museum. Cocktail hour will follow outdoors on the covered 24 Hour Terrace overlooking downtown Chattanooga, and the reception will take place on the tented rooftop beneath the city lights. We recommend guests dress accordingly for both indoor and outdoor portions of the evening while embracing the black tie atmosphere.

Question

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! Currently we only have a room block at The Read House, but we may add additional hotels - stay tuned for updates. There are so many great hotel options in Downtown Chattanooga, check out the travel page to see a couple of our favorites!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 6 PM, ceremony starts promptly at 6:30 PM!

Question

Answer

Complimentary valet service will be provided for all guests upon arrival at Hunter Museum of American Art and is the preferred parking option for the evening. For guests staying downtown or those who prefer not to drive, Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Chattanooga and offer easy access to the venue.
