This is a great place for hiking and seeing the amazing wildlife and scenery the southwest has to offer!
Barrio Brewing Co
We came here on our first date! They have a dog friendly patio where you can enjoy a beer and watch the trains go by (get a discount on your beer if you order while a train is passing)!
Mt Lemmon
Mt. Lemmon is the tallest mountain in the Santa Catalina Mountain range to the north of Tucson. The summit of the mountain is about 9200 ft, at the top you will be nearly 7000 ft above the city! The road is fully paved to the top but sometimes requires chains/4WD because of ice or snow during this time of year. If the weather is right we highly recommend it for an afternoon hike or just to see the scenery!
Mercado San Agustin
This is an amazing place to visit. There are many places to eat, get coffee and shop local. There is also the MSA Annex just down the street with more shops, food and a great bar to get beers and delicious cocktails
Pima Air & Space Museum
This is a really amazing collection of airplanes. It is fully pet friendly and it houses Anthony's favorite plane, the SR-71 Blackbird along with many many more! The museum is also located just around the corner from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base which has the aircraft boneyard with surplus military airplanes that can be mobilized at any time! It’s really cool to see, not to mention that it was in a Transformer movie!
Tanque Verde Ranch
The Tanque Verde Ranch has several a la carte activities including horse back riding, mountain biking, and guided hikes through the desert. The schedule changes weekly when it comes to the times of these events but all activities are sure to be a ton of fun!
