Ashley
Maid of Honor
Ashley and Emelia have been besties since high school, when Ashley transferred to Del Oro in 2016. They braved the harsh winters and sweltering summers of Nevada together from 2021-24, running and snowshoeing through the seasons. Ashley is the smartest person Emelia knows and currently works as a physician’s assistant in Grass Valley, CA.
Luke
Best Man
Luke and Andrew grew up one street apart from each other and have been best friends since childhood. It was pretty much a guarantee that if there was mischief on the block, these two were usually behind it. Newly married in March 2025, Luke and his wife Sam live together near downtown San Jose. Luke can usually be found playing a round of golf at Pruneridge, or cheering on the Sharks at the nearby SAP center.
Maddie
Bridesmaid
A friendship forged in sports, Maddie (AKA Mad Dog) and Emelia met on the high school water polo team in 2014. They both also played year-round club water polo, wrestled, and swam for their high school. Years of blood, sweat, tears, and belly laughs have created a lifelong friendship (and many inside jokes). Maddie recently graduated from law school and is looking forward to pursuing her career as a lawyer in Portland, OR.
Olivia
Bridesmaid
Olivia stands out from the crowd (literally, because she’s so tall) for many reasons, but mostly due to her utter and complete bad-assery. After completing two seasons with a Forest Service wildland fire crew, she ended up in the same Forest Ecology and Management major as Emelia at UNR. Olivia currently works as a fire ecologist for the Forest Service in Montana, while also spending the 2025 fire season on a hotshot crew.
Hannah
Bridesmaid
Hannah has the soul of an artist and the mindset of an athlete. When she’s not traveling or winning disc golf tournaments, she’s making pretty much anything you could think of- jewelry, pottery, woodworks, or kombucha jerky (ask her about her skerky!). Emelia first met Hannah in 2016, when Hannah visited the Del Oro campus with a paper bag on her head to ask Scott to homecoming. Sharing a love of good food, Hannah and Emelia love to forage, harvest, and prepare local Placer County delicacies!
Evan
Groomsman
Evan and Andrew met in the dorms their freshman year at Cal Poly and remained roommates throughout all four years. They’ve enjoyed music festivals, camping trips, and many laughs together throughout the length of their friendship. Evan now lives in south San Jose and plays with water for a living.
Bryce
Groomsman
Bryce has been like a big brother to Andrew since he started dating Andrew’s sister Emily in 2012. In November 2024, Bryce became Andrew’s brother in law. You’ll know who Bryce is because you’ll hear his laugh before you see him. Bryce is currently practicing law in NYC, and Andrew is eagerly awaiting his return to California so they can get Indian food together again.
Ralph
Groomsman
Andrew and Ralph first met because their girlfriends (Em and Ashley) always brought them along on double dates. Easily Andrew’s manliest friend, they bonded over Arnold movies, grilling meats, smoking cigars on the patio, and eagerly awaiting Em’s infamous cowboy cookies during movie nights. Ralph lives in Auburn with his girlfriend Ashley, where he focuses on pinpointing the whereabouts of the elusive North American Great Ape.
Will
Officiant
Will is Emelia's cousin from the Belden side of the family (if you couldn't tell by the Belden calves). He enjoys skiing, baseball, and long games of golf. Will and Emelia mostly communicate through Seinfeld quotes and impressions of family members.
Quinn
Guitarist
Hailing from Bodega Bay, California, Quinn Whisman- musical genius, deadhead, party animal- will be serenading the crowd with two songs that are very special to the couple. Quinn's day job as a park ranger at the Wildlands Conservancy in Bodega Bay supports his night job of jammin'.
