Farmers Market on the Square
Grab a cup of coffee, try some squeaky cheese curds and baked goods (Stella's Spicy Cheese Bread is a must!) and enjoy a walk around our beautiful state capitol!
The Terrace at Memorial Union
Grab a pitcher and sit in the iconic union chairs on the side of the lake or dip your feet in sitting on the dock. There's popcorn and local favorite Babcock Ice Cream if you're hungry!
Olbrich Botanical Gardens
Stroll 16 acres of outdoor gardens featuring stunning landscapes and Midwest-hardy plants. Outdoor Gardens free & open daily. Enjoy the Bolz Conservatory, an indoor tropical paradise, featuring exotic plants, fragrant flowers, and free-flying birds.
Willy Street Eats
There are so many restaurants on this street! Natalie grew up in a neighborhood nearby and lived here for a time when her and Brock got back together. We recommend: Umami, Grampas Pizzeria, Weary Traveler, Ha Long Bay, Lazy Jane's Cafe and Willalby's.
One Barrel Brewing Company
We used to be able to walk here from my Willy Street apartment. Great beers made one barrel at a time.
Camp Randall Stadium
Brock's family are proud season ticket owners for Badger Football and we have gone to so many games together. Unfortunately, it will be in the off season, but you could sneak a peek at our favorite place to be on a Saturday!
