Schedule

We are having a traditional Jewish wedding which may include some ceremonies that you may not have seen before. The following sections will detail some of the major ceremonies that will take place. We want all our guests to enjoy and feel comfortable at our wedding. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about any of the traditions in a Jewish wedding.

Sunday, May 27, 2018

The Tisch

3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Center for Urban Horticulture
3501 Northeast 41st Street, Isaacson Classroom, Seattle, WA 98105

We are having a joint Tish! The word ‘Tisch’ literally means ‘table’, and the common theme of every Tisch is that there’s a table in the middle, laden with food and drink for the guests to enjoy before the ceremony. It should be loud and full of energy, whilst meaningfully building the anticipation for the events to come.

Chuppah Ceremony

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The attire is black tie optional. We would like you to dress nicely, but tuxedos are not required. The venue has park trails, grassy fields, and gravel, so please plan your shoes accordingly.

The actual Wedding ceremony takes place under the Chuppah. This open-sided canopy symbolizes the home we are making together which is supported by our family and friends. There will be a program available at the wedding with the ceremony details.

Cocktail Hour

5:30 pm - 6:15 pm

Reception

6:15 pm - 10:00 pm

For all the days along the way
