Thank you so much for celebrating with us! We had so much fun and we are grateful for each and every one of you.
Scott and Elizabeth (Ellie, Liz, El, etc.) met back in July of 2017 when they were introduced by a mutual friend (Bill W - you might have heard of him ;) ). They created a strong friendship that blossomed throughout the year with late nights of sushi, Drunk History (TV Show), poker, and hanging out with their friend group. It wasn't until April of 2018 when the two of them discussed the possibility of being more than friends. Scott and Elizabeth haven't looked back since. In the end of 2019 they merged their households creating the current zoo they have now with their dogs Daisy, Nigel, and Nellie. In 2020 when the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, they got to experience an extended period of togetherness - a LOT of togetherness. When Elizabeth broke her arm on Christmas Eve, she unknowingly threw off a whole elaborate engagement plan. Little did she know, Scott had planned to propose while they were snowboarding in Crested Butte that upcoming February. He had a horse drawn sleigh and everything! Alas - that wasn't going to stop Scott from proposing, sleigh or not. Scott picked up their favorite pizza on the way home from work (shoutout to Wood Paddle Pizza!), came in and told Elizabeth to sit down because he had something to say. He professed his love right there in the middle of the living room and Elizabeth could not have been happier. It was the most special moment of their relationship and a day they will laugh about and cherish forever. In March 2022, Ellie and Scott decided that a wedding wasn't enough on their plate so they purchased a house!! They LOVE their new house and are saving spots on the walls for some beautiful wedding photos. Elizabeth and Scott have been through so much together and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together. They extend their thanks to each of you all for playing some sort of role in their individual or joined lives and can't wait to see you in October 2022!!
