His version: It was a day like any other day. After an hour drive back home from work I decided to stop by my regular bar, like I always did, to enjoy some drinks and watch sports with friends. Upon walking in, I found none of my friends sitting in our usual spot, the corner of the bar, and instead saw an attractive young lady in a Cubs hat, sitting alone watching the game. So I did the natural thing… chickened out, didn’t talk to her, had a few drinks, and went home early. Fortunately for me, a few of my buddies showed up later on and made friends with her. We’d be introduced and get to know each other in the weeks to come and the rest is history. Her version: After a full day of work, I attempted to go to the gym but was met with a full parking lot and a minimal amount of time before the Cubs game was to start. I decided to cut my losses and visit the local bar up the street from my apartment to watch the game instead. I walked in and took a seat at the end of the bar, not knowing it was "the spot" for a group of regulars. Not long after, one of those regulars, an older man, sat down next to me inquiring about everything under the sun. Lucky for me, it was him who later introduced me to Andy. After a few months, an injury to Andy’s knee and some delicious ramen, we officially started dating. Now here we are 6.5 years later with a cute doggo and a beautiful daughter, finally tying the knot!
