Dress nicely for photos, but no need to go full formal! Think dressy casual — sundresses, jumpsuits, button-downs, or slacks are perfect. We’ll be on grass for the ceremony, so pick shoes that won’t sink, and bring a jacket in case it gets breezy. Blue and black tones are encouraged to match our color palette.
Absolutely! We love your little ones and can’t wait to celebrate with them. There’s a sand play area nearby to keep them entertained during the burger lunch, too.
Parking is available across the street from the Santa Barbara Courthouse in City Lot #7 on Anacapa Street — the first 75 minutes are free. There are several nearby downtown lots with similar rates, all within a short walk of the ceremony. We recommend arriving a little early to find a spot and get settled.
Yes! We’d love to see the day through your eyes — please feel free to take and share photos throughout the celebration. We just ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us.
After the “I do’s,” we’ll all make our way to Padaro Beach Grill for burgers by the ocean! You’ll drive yourself — it’s a quick, easy trip south toward Carpinteria (and right on the way home if you’re heading toward Ventura or L.A.). It's the perfect little coastal pit stop before your nighttime New Year’s Eve plans!
The ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m., followed by a casual burger lunch. The celebration will wrap up around 3:00 p.m., leaving you plenty of time to explore Santa Barbara (check out our Things to Do page for ideas!).
No formal evening reception — we’re keeping it cozy and casual! But we’d love for everyone to make the most of New Year’s Eve in Santa Barbara. Grab dinner, hit a cocktail spot, or head to the beach for fireworks if you’re staying in town. Ideas for how to fill your NYE evening can also be found on the "Things to Do" page.
