No - we'll be married prior to the weekend. This event is a reception and celebration of our marriage.
There’s no formal dress code. This is a rugged mountain environment, and we’ll be walking around outdoors. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear (hiking boots or similar) are strongly encouraged.
Yes. Crystal Mountain is remote, and ride-share options are not available. Guests flying in should plan to rent a car. As the date approaches and attendees are confirmed we'll start coordinating car rental groups based on flight times. Additionally, we'll be offering a limited shuttle service between the Durkin Lodge and the base area hotels.

Nothing is required. There will be opportunities for walking, exploring, and visiting a nearby waterfall, but everything is optional and self-paced. With that being said, Gold Hills Road is incredibly steep, and even walking around the neighborhood could be considered strenuous.
All meals will be communal. Some meals will be provided, and guests will help with light cooking and cleanup tasks throughout the weekend as part of the shared lodge experience.
September is typically mild, but mountain weather can change quickly. Evenings can be cool — layers are recommended.
