Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by 8/15/2024

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 6pm CST, so we recommend arriving by 5:30pm to ensure that you get parking or have time to use the restroom, etc. and get to your seats before the ceremony starts.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request evening semi-formal/cocktail attire for our wedding. This article and related links do a great job of breaking down wedding dress codes: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained Please refrain from wearing white and white-adjacent colors as those colors are reserved for the bride. The bridal party will be in blue and the groomsman will be in gray suits. There will be many photos taken throughout the evening and we’re looking forward to celebrating in style with our guests! Please note that the traditionally short and sweet ceremony is outside in the shade of palm trees and the reception will be inside with air conditioning.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, we prefer to keep our evening wedding Adults Only as much as possible, especially since the waterside venue can be dangerous. All parents deserve a night off and we encourage y’all to have a kid-free night for the party of the year with us!! We do have prescreened/vetted babysitter recommendations provided by the Hilton, which are listed below: About - Angelfish Babysitting & Nanny Services LLC (angelfishservices.com) 850-797-3100 EMERALD COAST NANNY SERVICES - Nanny Service, Nanny, Baby Sitting 850-499-5049 Corporate Kids Events (CKE): Offering Conference Childcare & Large Group Childcare Services – Conference Childcare You Can Count On 800-757-3580 We understand given the nature of a destination wedding that finding childcare may be difficult to arrange for the night, particularly for nursing infants and mothers. If this is the case, please reach out to us or these trusted babysitting companies. Thank you in advance and we can’t wait to enjoy our big day with you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be stated on your invitation and their name will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate with the chefs in advance.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have room blocks reserved on Pensacola Beach. Please see the Travel Tab for details. The Hilton has the best room block rate. You can still use Hilton Honors points at the Hilton for the room block or Marriott Bonvoy points at the Fairfield Inn.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be reserving shuttles between the hotels and the venue.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot at Pensacola Yacht Club for those that plan to drive. Please keep in mind that alcohol will be served at the event and we want everyone to get back to their hotels safely.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please see our wedding registry included on the Registry tab. We both had houses prior to getting engaged, so after moving in together, we have almost everything (some things x2) we could possibly need. So we’ve put a couple items on the registry that we want, but what we need Most is help paying for our Honeymoon in Saint Lucia this fall. We’ve also asked for giftcards to Lowes and the Container store because we’re working on the house and need to implement storage systems in both the garage and attic.
