We are so excited to invite you to our wedding celebration in Las Vegas! However, we recognize traveling to Nevada may not be a viable option for a number of reasons. While we would be honored to see you for our special day, we certainly don't expect anyone to stretch themselves logistically, financially, or for health reasons just to watch us say "I do." The only word to describe how we met is "serendipitous." When we met, Chris was pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and Emma was working at a PR firm in Minneapolis. A Long Island native, Chris naturally went home for winter break in 2016. On his way back from Christmas break, Chris swiped away on Tinder during a 3-hour layover at MSP. A week later, Emma drunkenly swiped right on this rando from Grand Forks and messaged him, "You're really cute, but really far away." A few days of exchanging GIFs turned into texting all day long turned into phone calls after work turned into a 4 1/2-hour drive to Minneapolis turned into two years turned into a cross-country move to Massachusetts turned into cohabitating during a never-ending pandemic turned into singing made up songs about The Cat™ turned into our whole life together. Like Emma said the first time they kissed after that first 4 1/2-hour drive, "Yeah... This is good."
