FAQs

Question

will the ceremony be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

the ceremony and reception will be outdoor (weather permitting) on the stunning Sky Terrace, overlooking the ocean.

Question

what is the weather like in Puerto Morelos in February?

Answer

the weather in February is temperate, with average daytime temperatures in the low 80s and nighttime temperatures in the high 60s and low 70s. February is supposed to be one of the clearest, most sunny months of the year!

Question

what should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

you will be missed! If you are unable to attend, please let us know/RSVP "no" so that we (and the host resort) can plan accordingly.

Question

how do I get to the resort?

Answer

one of the reasons we chose Dreams Sapphire was the proximity of the resort to Cancun International Airport (CUN); it's a short 20 minute drive (22km) drive to Puerto Morelos. you can coordinate your private or shared travel from the airport via the hotel block we've reserved for you.

Question

what day should I fly in?

Answer

this is totally dependent on your schedule and availability - whatever works best for you! Our ceremony is on Saturday, February 11th, so most of the wedding party and family will be arriving on Thursday, February 9th to participate in the welcome party and rehearsal dinner, as well as relax and have some fun in the sun.

Question

where do I stay?

Answer

Arian and I have reserved a hotel block with group rates for all our guests at Dreams Sapphire (the host all-inclusive hotel). in order to attend our wedding, you MUST stay at Dreams Sapphire; there are very strict rules from the resort requiring all guests to stay on site. if you have any questions, please reach out to Brooke Carothers (MOH) at 832/621/7001.

Question

when is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is November 10, 2022 in order to provide the resort with enough time to accommodate our large party.

Question

Can I bring a camera or use my cell phone to take photos of the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Our utmost priority is having an unplugged wedding ceremony with the people we love! When we look out into the audience, we want to see your faces, not your iPhone; that’s why we’ve hired a professional photographer and videographer. We ask you to put your phones away and on silent during the ceremony so that Korina (our photographer) and Jorge (our videographer) can get the priceless photos of the Azodis and all our friends and family, without having to photoshop anyones phone out. We promise — as soon as we have the photos, we will send them to you!
